New Model of Snack Tomato Harvesting Robot Announced.

The Hague, Netherlands – inaho Europe B.V. (Director: Yu Mizuki) is proud to announce live demonstrations of its 2026 pre-commercial snack tomato harvesting robot at TomatoWorld. Alongside the launch of pilot projects with 4 major European growers this season, the industry’s shift toward automation is rapidly accelerating. Building on last year's success of proving a 45% reduction in labor costs, inaho will unveil its latest model with enhanced speed and capacity, while opening the Priority Access Program for limited 2027 production slots.

Evolution of the 2026 Model: Maximizing Operational Efficiency

We have pushed operational efficiency to the limit through a complete hardware and AI software refresh. This summer, we are on track to achieve a 1.5x speed increase from last year’s 20kg/h, targeting 30kg/h to ensure high-speed performance during the peak season. This improvement is powered by a comprehensive upgrade of our industrial cameras, motor drives, and AI algorithms.

Continuous operation is further enhanced by the redesigned chassis, which now supports multiple harvesting boxes simultaneously. This multi-box system significantly reduces downtime for crate replacement and maximizes active harvesting time, leading to a higher total daily yield. Furthermore, the redesigned compact hand enables a more precise approach even in dense stems. This innovation directly boosts the overall harvest rate while simultaneously ensuring plant safety and minimizing crop loss.

Strategic Value: A Hedge Against Future Labor Risks

Beyond simple cost-cutting, inaho proposes "Management Stability" as a critical strategy. By optimizing the division of labor—letting robots handle high-volume, repetitive harvesting—human labor can be redeployed to more skilled crop management and decision-making tasks, maximizing the overall profitability of the greenhouse. This optimization significantly reduces the administrative burden and risks associated with recruitment, training, and housing, ensuring a consistent and reliable harvest schedule regardless of labor availability.

In an era of rising wages and the increasing difficulty of finding skilled labor across Europe, early adoption of automation serves as a vital hedge. By integrating robotic solutions now, growers and industry partners can protect long-term profit margins against future cost spikes and mitigate the risks associated with the declining quality of available manual labor, ensuring high output quality for years to come.

A Low-Risk Business Model: Zero Investment, Strategic Cost Efficiency

To support rapid adoption with minimal financial exposure, inaho offers a low-risk Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model. With zero initial investment and no robot purchase costs required, our pay-per-kg pricing is designed to be highly competitive with current manual labor rates. This allows for the integration of cutting-edge automation without any up-front capital expenditure, providing a clear and predictable path toward long-term operational profitability and improved cost management.

Securing Future Stability: Limited Slots for the 2027 Priority Access Program

To ensure premium support and peak operational quality, production slots for the 2027 model remain strictly limited. Priority allocation will be reserved for existing pilot partners and forward-thinking stakeholders who pre-register during the June demo sessions at TomatoWorld. In the current climate of acute labor shortages and rising costs, securing your robotic solution today is a strategic necessity to protect long-term profit margins and maintain a competitive edge.

Special GreenTech Demo Sessions Monday, June 8 at 09:00 Friday, June 12 at 09:00

Weekly Regular Demo Availability From June 15 to June 26, 2026, regular demo sessions will be held every Monday and Friday. These sessions are by registration only and have limited capacity. We welcome growers, potential partners, and industry stakeholders to join these sessions and explore the potential of autonomous harvesting. Early sign-up is strongly recommended.
